Historical background

Reference to historical background was rarely done. It was better in 2018. On average, 11% of stories had two or more paragraphs/sentences providing the historical background of the event or issue covered. That is 2% more for all media. Newspapers had 15% with sufficient historical reference (minus 2%), national radio 11% (plus 8%), local radio 9% (plus 1%) ) and TV only 7% (minus 6%).
