{"id":2147,"date":"2019-02-08T08:37:46","date_gmt":"2019-02-08T08:37:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yearbook.dephics.co\/?page_id=2147"},"modified":"2020-12-07T13:45:29","modified_gmt":"2020-12-07T13:45:29","slug":"results","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sjmc.udsm.ac.tz\/yearbook\/results\/","title":{"rendered":"Results"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_section][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The print sub-sample has reduced its performance in almost all quality criteria, whereas radio and TV have improved in some categories (at least in their programmes).<\/li>\n<li>A serious fall in quality is seen in comprehensive reporting, as the diversity of perspectives (reporting under a speci\ufb01c lens and therefore in-depth) has suffered compared to 2018 in all media types.<\/li>\n<li>Similarly, the number of media pieces with explicit opinions and viewpoints has fallen considerably, even when compared to an already low level in 2018.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple sourcing has suffered, except for radio programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Improvement is evident in covering the root causes of events and issues because radio and TV programmes reported more on the root causes in 2019 than in the previous year.<\/li>\n<li>Another improvement in all media genres has been reporting on \ufb01gures\/numbers.
